NOW OPEN! Museum of Illusions Austin

Went here to celebrate Mother’s Day with my daughters and had so much fun.

The illusions were so realistic looking; and I learned a lot about the different types of illusions too.

I had never done anything like this before and I highly recommend it as something to do while visiting Austin!

This place is incredible. Very fun and interesting to say the least. Still shaking my head at some of the exhibits.

When I arrived, I was informed that reservations really should not have been available because of several large groups scheduled that day. Even so, Chiara and Shanice at the front desk showed me so much kindness and compassion. They listened to my situation, let us quickly walk through before the children’s groups arrived, and treated me with so much understanding during what was honestly a really hard day.

They even invited us to come back later in the afternoon, though I ultimately decided to head home after our quick visit. I also truly appreciated the refund that was provided.

I just wanted management to know how much their kindness meant to me. Sometimes small moments of compassion can completely change someone’s day, and both Chiara and Shanice were absolute godsent humans to me in that moment.
